City of Hazelwood and MTC confirm $5 million loan

City of Hazelwood confirm with MTC a $5m loan program for Emerald Automotive at public council meeting.

After several months of negotiation and Due Diligence, The City of Hazelwood council members agreed unanimously to giving Emerald Automotive the loan. The loan will be used to enable Emerald to start recruitment in Missouri and establish their offices and manufacturing site in Hazelwood. City manager, Ed Carlstrom, Mayor Matt Robinson and MTC chief Jason Hall have been instrumental in leading the negotiation to bring Emerald to the St Louis region.

RCGA outline multi-million $ incentive package

Website Launch

September 26th 2011

Emerald Automotive website is launched at a reception in St Louis.

With over 100 invited dignitaries and business leaders from Missouri, Emerald CEO Andy Tempest launched the website at a reception held at the Four Seasons Hotel, St Louis.

The website portrays the all new hybrid vehicle in detail and advertises the initial new jobs being offered.

TSB award $6 million

September 15th 2010

UK government body, the Technical Strategy Board (TSB) award $6m to IE-LEV and Revolve.

The TSB low carbon initiative grant program awarded a $6m matched funding to partners IE and Revolve to build two lightweight, low emission hybrid delivery van demonstrators. The grant will be matched by a further $6m from the partners to design and build two fully functioning demonstrator during the 18 month program. The grant is specifically designed to enable the promotion and development of the best UK technology in an exploitable low carbon vehicle. The partnership will contract Ricardo, Lotus, ACG, Multimatic, EVO and Axeon as leading UK based technology consultants and suppliers to bring the best UK technology to the program.
