Emerald Automotive officials said today that Rian Urding has been appointed chief financial officer.
“Rian has been involved with Emerald from the very start and has been instrumental in its development and growth,” CEO Andy Tempest said. “I am absolutely delighted that he has agreed to join the Emerald Board on a permanent basis and serve as our full-time CFO.”
Urding got his start with PricewaterhouseCooper and for the past five years he has been chief financial officer of Intelligent Energy Holdings PLC.
Emerald Automotive is a British startup that plans to build a $175 million plant in Hazelwood to make hybrid delivery vans.
